Unable to stay logged in

Hi Everyone Over the last week or so, I have been asked to login everytime I access the forum. Upon logging in, I know there is the box underneath the login and password boxes but I am unable to tick this box and remain logged in as the login process is so quick. Ticking the box before doing the log...

Re: Midland Pullman Bachmann 31-255

Hi Everyone The main thing that surprised me with this model was that although it has 2 motors, there is no live connection between coaches 3 & 4 ( irrespective of which direction the model would be running ) to ensure both motors are receiving power as 1 power car could help the other to keep g...

Re: Dc circuit breaker

The Hammond & Morgan duette controllers also have them built in. I have 2 of these controllers and believe me, the cut outs certainly do the job when a short or overload occurs.

Re: Booted out of Facebook

Alrhough I don't know much about social networking sites ( purely from my own choice not to know anything about them ) I would definitely say that a complaint needs to be made about their handling of the situation. From my perspective, I would have thought they would have at least tried to contact y...

Re: Raven A2 Pacific Locomotive In OO Gauge

Hi Everyone Many thanks for your replies on this topic, I am not sure if there was once an article in 1 of the modelling magazines ( Hornby, BRM, Railway Modeller etc ) where a hornby B12 locomotive was converted into a Raven A2. I did a bit of research and found that the Raven A2 locomotives had 6'...

Raven A2 Pacific Locomotive In OO Gauge

Hi Everyone I have been thinking for some time ( easily 10 years or more ) of potential ways to model any of the Raven A2 locomotives besides kitbuilding option by using commercially available parts if possible. The locomotive will be powered via the loco chassis itself ( no tender drive here ) and ...

Re: Coupling hooks

Hi OOLee

For the nem couplers, most model shops stock them. As far as I know, both Bachmann and Hornby produce them, I believe they are available via the Bachmann and Hornby websites.

I find the Bachmann couplers are better as they are better for close coupling.

Hope this helps.

Re: Bachmann motor.

Hi Aussie 3 Railer My apologies for the delay in replying. Since July last year I have purchased 5 Bachmann locomotives ( all of which had suffered split axles ). I also purchased several sets of replacement axles from Peter's Spares and successfully repaired, however, luck was not on my side 2 week...
