Guards van leds

Has any one tried to solder the very thin wires on the lamps when your eye sight is not the best, I'm a type one diabetic I use a magnifying glass with in built lamp any help please thanks.

If the wires look bare ie no plastic insulation then it most likely has a coat of lacquer as insulation, then it will need removing. It can melt away with a soldering iron but I prefer to scrape to scrape the coating away with a sharp blade before tinning with solder prior to soldering to the power supply. It’s a delicate job however..
