Photos not showing

Just noticed that the photos included in my 'Members Layouts' Lostock Junction posts from 2021 and earlier aren't displaying. Is this a general issue?

If you are using links to a photo hosting service the problem might be there. If the service has packed up, as happened to me once, or has become a paid service or has a limit set in the T&Cs as to how long they will host photos can cause pictures in posts to be unavailable. Most forums prefer links to photo hosts as this saves on bandwidth compared to imbedded pictures but you run the risk of the pictures being unavailable for the reasons above.

Just had a look at your Lostock Junction thread and as far as I can see all your images are coming up some with a bit of a delay at times but they are all there.

Hi,

I've noticed a couple of issues with PostImages.cc where it will not display them. it looks like your pictures are all there to me, but i'll keep an eye out.

Ok thanks, must have been a blip on my laptop. Seems to be ok now.
