Music is always being played in our house. In fact I have heard music in houses wherever I lived.

My good lady Glencairn has Serenade Radio playing. The music varies from the 1920s to 1970s (mainly).

They played 'So Tired' by Russ Morgan. Apparently it is a 'love song'. The first line goes 'So Tired of waiting for you.'
When I was around four years of age, before I went to bed, I would ask my grandmother to play the song on the record player.
I would hear, 'So tired of waiting for you,' and I would be fast asleep. Grandmother then had the 'pleasure of carrying me to bed'.

Why the song? I was waiting for my father to come home from the Army. It was a long wait. (Even longer for my grandmother as her three sons were 'somewhere in the world')
