Model Railway Forum

Hi forum users.
With my next book almost at the publishers I find that I still need some good quality pictures of real UK railway structures, such as for example... P.Way huts, Signal gantries, rod runs, OHLE equipment etc etc. In fact most things found line side.

Now, I could take a few days out and run around looking for items but I know a lot of you take great pictures on your railway travels. So if you have any that could be used I would appreciate a PM.
Of course I would acknowledge the owner of any images I use in the book.

So what have you? - No selfies or families pics etc Sorry!

I would be indebted to you if you can send me by email any clear and in focus images (They have to be pin sharp as the printer usually wont entertain anything blurred etc) to the email address I have sent to you each by PM. I can then select any that would fit with what I need. Unused images will be deleted. If any are used you would be credited as the image owner.

I need clear good quality images of the following...
Mechanical Point rod leadaway and runs.
Telegraph poles with multi arms and wires.
Railway fencing - all types.
Fogging Hut.
Cable routes.

All I have would be in traditional photograph form mostly taken with a 110 camera and they would be photographs of trains. Somewhere I aquired some old photographs from a friend but I don't know who took them and I don't think he knows either. If I find them I can take a look? Black and White photos they are but are of trains...
