Hi Have another problem in fitting a double slip.
I bought a new Peco insulfrog double slip a few months a go.
I remember getting the instructions out of the box to see how it is wired up.
Now I have come to fit it on my layout I can not find the instructions.
Does anybody know how to wire up a insulfrog doubleslip for DDC use please.
Mike

The double slip tracks are powered entirely by applying the track supply to the each rail on the its outer edges. Mine did however go dead after ballasting on one rail leading away from a frog which I could only presume was an underside factory fitted connection failed and an additional feed was necessary, but then to play safe I put an isolated joiner on the rails from all the other frogs and provided a separate feed to that rail beyond the isolated joiner. The one issue you can get with a Peco Insulfrog point on DCC is a locos wheels managing to touch the "other" rail leading from the frog - a problem I had with a Hornby T9 on a medium LH point (since replaced by an Electrofrog) but II have no problems on the double slip so wired.

Hi
Peco instruction sheet for the Insulated frog DS below.
As Mike has said on the Insulated frog point on DCC just add a pair of feeds to the outer rails of the DS. Insulated Rail Joiners are not normally needed with the Insulated frog DS.
