I decided just to keep the Railway Modellers and the Model Railway Constructors. Mine go back to about the mid 1970's.
I don't have every one..
Lots of other magazines I decided to let a book charity have them as they were in demand, and they did find new homes.
My railway modellers had their adverts removed, and with a drill I made holes in them and put them into files. A lot easier to store.

My problem is that I was sorting out my magazines so I had them out, and I reduced the volume of the collection to about a third. But then a family friend saw me and thought "He likes those train magazines" and kept going to that book charity and bringing me the very ones I had taken there! And I wasn't allowed to tell her as my Mum thinks it is impolite. So I kept having to take them back which is a 17 mile drive each way. And another elderly lady kept bringing me collections of magazines because she had also seen me sorting them... So I had more to take to the book charity as I was only collecting the RM's and MRC's. (Mainly the RM's).

But I do hope you find a new home for them. They are just too precious to bin. Hopefully someone near you will want them.
