Bachmann have only announcing what they will release this Spring; they are going to make further announcements in due course for Summer, Autumn and Winter 2020 releases. For spring they are releasing 16 locos/multiple units, 3 coaches and 7 wagons. Hornby in comparison for Quarter 1 have 17 locos/multiple units, 2 coaches plus a twin coach pack and the coaches with Rocket counted amongst the 17 locos etc and no wagons .

Re: Bachmann new releases
Happy if some people found items of interest, and perhaps there might be more gems in the months ahead - not holding my breath however.
Re: Bachmann new releases
After I'd posted that, yesterday. Bachmann then sneaked in a few items of re-liveries (37's), and a few items of rolling stock - using the old dies.
There are some new buildings - but have a look at the sky-high prices!
As stated above, they are seemingly going to have a small range released on each of four quarters, which will spread the load on your budget, but you won't know what will be coming 'later', to save up for!

Re: Bachmann new releases
Must have working doors and people in it for that price. Is it 0 gauge? Sorry. Not kept up with the thread.
Budget modelling in 0-16.5...
Re: Bachmann new releases
There are two other 'new kids on the block' which are sneaking up behind the big two (Hornby and Bachmann) and the not quite so big two (Dapol and Heljan) , namely Accurascale and Oxford Rail. Starting off fairly modestly they both have released some interesting items and I feel are well worth watching.

The price of the new building is ridiculous, what the heck is going on?
Nurse, the screens!

Have a look at Ancorton for sensible prices - lineside structures in 3D or wood kits for OO and N -

Re: Bachmann new releases
I have theory over Bachmanns pricing; they set the prices high but retailers typically knock 15% off whilst on Hornby new items 10% seems typical. Some always want the new release and will pay whatever so the smaller model shops benefit from high price sales with the greater mark up on the trade price on often pre-ordered items and probably order very few more of a specific item. The remaining stock eventually fails into basic economics whereby the entire quantity of a specific model cost at trade price £x and at some point having the combined profit on those sold comes close to £x allowing for a significant reduction in price and then once £x has been recovered any sale at any price is pure profit resulting in the hefty discounts with models potentially be sold for less than the individual trade price and almost certainly in the case of some.
