With patience and luck you can pick up the earlier ones fairly cheaply on ebay. Here is one I did from the last release - I used old Airfix underframes, end and roofs to backdate it from its BR Mk1 compromises. It is still a botch up and I haven't yet got round to replacing the BR bogies though intend to. TBH, the forthcoming Rapido coaches, although generic, will be far better visually than what can be done with the Triang offering.

Very nice work there Ultima Thule.
I don't posses steady enough hands to paint to that level, hence why I was chasing the later printed versions, as you say the older ones are easy enough to pick up quite inexpensively.

I have 2 sets now and the other set I didn't expect to get allegedly arriving today, so I will either sell one set on or part it out and sell.

Being still quite new to railways, can anyone tell me how the interior was laid out ?
I don't intend to be 100% accurate but something near enough would be fine.
For example on the real coaches is there a corridor on one side, and if so, small or large window sides ?

The corridor would be on the large window side as that with the smaller windows would be windows serving each compartment.

Hi guys, so I have 3D printed some bogies to closer represent the ones used on the Caladonean 8 wheelers ( not accurate, just something resembling them), complete with nem pockets.
I have also Printed myself some interiors (again, a representation):

Would anyone know what colours for the interior ?

I am thinking dark grey flooring, and wood for the sides/walls, but unsure about shade of wood and the seat colour.
