Sealing printed card

#1

Post by Antan1 »

Hi, just wanted your thoughts on whether or not to seal printed card and paper used in scenic locations. I read somewhere that some Metcalfe products should be sealed to minimise ink bleed.
Thanks Anthony

Like Brian, never sealed card models but you do need to be careful when using dilute PVA near them!
However, I did try a downloadable printed kit some years ago and recall that the supplier recommended an artists fixing spray, possibly Winsor and Newton.

I have built many Metcalfe in the post and have never come across ink bleed.
