Bit like Motocycles, some people think they are great others think only idiots ride them. The fact you think the club is rubbish is your choice. I joined this year to see what it is like. Many will join because of the club loco. Some will join depending what the loco is. I’m not getting one,
You are right, I dont have to join, and I certainly don't need you or anyone else on here telling me what I can do or not do thank you.
Most people are shocked when they find out how bad I am as an electrician

The Club "special" as WTD says is an H Class, but it is limited to 3000 and it's one per customer. I think it's still available on the Club site?

It come up with error 404 or something similar. Perhaps they are all gone.

Edit: it is working again now but when I click preorder it tells me I need to join the club to get one, but I have joined.

Although I have already pre-ordered one, I just tried again, and I got the same message. I think the website needs some tweaking.

Error 404 normally means the page has been moved or deleted. ...........John

Unfortunately the J83 has a problem - occasional jamming of the gears/wheels.
It’s had a full stripdown and clean today but I’m bu##ered if I can see what the issue is.
So it’s going back in the post tomorrow. :x

Just had an email from Hornby to announce the re-launch of the 10% discount on Scalextric products. I wonder if that indicates a possible change of heart for the rail items in future?
